The Dalesbred Sheep Breeders Association

It was on the 28th November 1929  that a group of breeders decided to form the Dalesbred Sheep Breeders' Association. The society was formed to fix the type and characteristics of the breed. The society was incorporated under the Companies Act 1929 as a limited company on the 11th October 1945.
